The Swamp Rabbit Trail is a 22-mile multi-use (walking and bicycling) greenway that traverses along the Reedy River, an old railroad corridor and City parks to connect Travelers Rest with the City of Greenville, South Carolina. There were moms with strollers, people walking and "serious" bikers (the ones that probably do bike races). Then figure out where to stay (like Pisgah Inn), find things to see and do (like Falls Park on the Reedy), and research places to eat (like Coffee to a Tea). The Swamp Rabbit Trail is also dog friendly, meaning that people can bring their dogs to the trail on a leash! We did this trail by chance (bad weather in NC forced to reconsider SC). Also, did not visit it, but there is a cafe and store with trail access at one point. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, and nature trips. Stayed at the KOA campground in travelers rest sc. It's about 0.2 mile long. However, I found it difficult to get a good run going. This is a wonderful trail - plenty of opportunities for restrooms and refreshments along the way - one of those where you don't have to pack up a ton of gear to make it an enjoyable time for the family. 3.
